Dr. Zaheer Hosany is a seasoned entrepreneur and operations specialist with over 15 years of experience driving business growth across e-commerce, technology, logistics, and international trade. As COO of Palmis Global, Dr. Hosany oversees the company’s operational infrastructure, technology development, and strategic partnerships.
His background includes instrumental roles in nurturing start-ups to Decacorn status, spearheading strategic business acquisitions for a prominent Royal Family, and orchestrating the rapid expansion of a commodities trading company across 12 global locations within 18 months. Dr. Hosany also founded ECDB (E-Commerce Development Board), a UK-based infrastructure platform enabling sellers from developing countries to access Western markets.
urbungs is a highly motivated and seasoned business entrepreneur with a diverse background spanning multiple sectors. With over 25 years of experience in global business, Dr. Hurbungs brings exceptional leadership, strategic acumen, and an unwavering commitment to excellence to Palmis Global.
A native of Mauritius and a graduate of Brunel University (Masters in Finance and Banking, Graduate in Law) and London South Bank University (BA Business Studies with Marketing), Dr. Hurbungs has held senior roles across commodities trading, real estate development, casino management, and student leadership — including serving as the first Mauritian to be elected Student Union President at a UK university, earning over 22,500 votes.
His professional journey includes roles as Sales and Operations Director at Sports Direct International, General Manager at Hard Rock Casino London, and founder of Palmis Global in 2018. Dr. Hurbungs is also an active voice in Mauritius politics, with a commitment to social justice and community empowerment.
